New England Aquarium

On Sunday Nov 18th, we went to the New England Aquarium. It was freezing out, so it was nice to be in the warm aquarium. The kids had a great time. Tristan obvoiusly loved the penguins, as usual. He also picked up a star fish on his own which was huge considering he would only touch them before. He still wanted nothing to do with the horseshoe crab. (can't blame him, that thing looks like a dinosaur) Avery liked the fish and then had a ball in the kids area. After the aquarium, we drove around Boston at night, considering it was a great night for a drive. (crisp and clear) We saw the people Ice skating at Frog Pond and all the lights on Newbury and Bolyston street. It was a great family day.

Boston's Childrens Museum

On Saturday Nov 3rd, we went to the Childrens Museum in Boston. The kids had a great time. Tristan was full of energy when we walked in there and he immediately met his match with the 3-story jungle gym in the front of the museum. (not to mention he is probably the youngest kid to reach the top, in the history of the museum) Plus, Avery had fun dancing and Tristan doing all the big kid stuff.

Halloween night

The kids looooooved halloween this year, and loved trick or treating. The very first house Tristan trick or treated at, he actually walked into the house. Also, he wanted to go to every house, and did not understand that some people just weren't home. Tristan's big cousins, Tommy & Josh, were great as usual, helping him trick or treating.

Red Sox Championship Parade

Not exactly a family event, but I had to post this. Especially when I have a picture of Papelbon playing a broom with the Dropkick Murphy's! Go Sox!!!!

Woburn's Halloween Parade

On Sunday Oct 28th, I took the kids to Woburn's Halloween parade. Jackie was working but I met Auntie Pengie, Uncle Mellon, Tommy, Josh, and Uncle Chuck and fam. The weather was very nice considering that I remember many Halloween parades where it was downright freezing.
