On Sunday of Memorial day weekend, we went to York's Wild Kingdom in York, ME. This place is by far our favorite zoo. There are so many animals and they have really cool interactive areas for the kids like the butterfly house (with Alligators in the ponds) and the deer feeding areas. The weather was beautiful and we just had a really nice day.

Wayside Inn -Sudbury

The Wayside Inn in Sudbury is a historical site. They have an old waterwheel and a beautiful garden. Today it mostly is used for functions such as weddings. We love going here and walking around the grounds, veyr pretty!!

Roger Williams Zoo

We had a blast at the Roger Williams Zoo. Tristan loved seeing the kangaroos and the penguins. Avery loved seeing the giraffes, there were even a few baby giraffes out. Tristan walked like a champ around the whole zoo and for those that haven't been there, it is very spread out.

On Sunday, May 4th, we took the kids to see one of the Minutemen Monuments in Concord. Of course they had more fun going over the bridge than anything else.

Super Tristan

Tristan is now officially a super hero, with his own cape and all.

Netties Playground

Another spring day we spent at Nettie's playground in Melrose. This park has a huge metal slide, old school style, in the middle of the playground. This slide was Tristan's match for the day.

Lynch Park

On one of the nice days, we took a ride to Lynch Park in Beverly. We played on the playground for a while and then we played in the sand on the beach. Just a preview of things to come.
