2 years ago we started the tradition of letting the kids pick out the tree. I'm not one of those people that has to have the perfect tree with the perfect decorations to match. Instead, we lead the kids to the trees in our price point and let them choose. This year they had to choose together-an act of compromise. The first year Avery actually had a say and I have to say they worked together nicely to pick out a great tree. They were both very proud of their tree and couldn't wait to get it decorated!!
